Configure Your Survey in Survey Builder

Here’s how to set up your survey for success:

  • Confidentiality Settings:
    • Decide if you need to adjust the default confidentiality settings based on your survey goals. Onboarding and exit surveys often have different confidentiality needs, so strike the right balance between transparency and anonymity. [Learn more here.]
  • Tailored Communication:
    • Personalise your email content to explain the purpose of the survey to new starters and leavers. Clear messaging helps drive participation and sets expectations.
  • Survey Duration:
    • Continuous Surveys: Keep your survey open indefinitely to collect ongoing feedback. This option lets you continuously add new participants over time and build a robust dataset.
    • One-Time Surveys: Prefer a one-off survey? Simply set a close date or leave the continuous option unchecked.
  • Recipient Management:
    • Add any recent new starters or upcoming leavers to your survey. Once you press send, they’ll receive an invitation right away.
    • For continuous surveys, you can easily add new participants over time using the Active Surveys Widget.
