What is the Essential Team Report?

The Essential Team Report is an editable, professional report suitable for managers and can be generated directly from your live dashboard.

Understanding Your Report

This report reflects the specific attribute or demographic filters you applied on your dashboard at the moment you clicked "generate."

  • Filtered View: The data represents the exact audience you chose to view (e.g., specific departments or teams).
  • Specific Context: If you applied multiple filters (like Location: Newcastle + Department: Marketing), you are seeing the specific feedback of that intersection.
  • Name Usage: Your name may appear in tables and titles; this simply confirms the report was built using your specific data permissions and filtered view.
  • Make it Yours: Because the report downloads as an editable PowerPoint, you can update names, swap titles, refine the language, or add your own team branding before presenting.

Measuring Success: The "Big Picture"

To give your feedback meaning, we compare your team's results against the Organisation Results.

  • Benchmarking: You will see your scores side-by-side with the full response dataset from the entire survey.
  • Identify Levers: Use the Comparison Heatmaps to see where your team stands against the Org average. This helps you see where your team is leading the way and where you might need to focus more attention.
  • Key Drivers: If you have access to Key Drivers on your dashboard, you can include these in your report to understand what most influences your team's engagement.

Taking Action with Your Team

Feedback shouldn't be an annual event; it should be an ongoing conversation in weekly 1:1s and team meetings.

A. Build Trust Through Transparency

  • Be Open: Share results as soon as possible.
  • Celebrate Wins: Don't just look for gaps; celebrate your team's strengths.
  • Frame the Conversation: Position the results as "our opportunity" to improve how we work together.

B. Co-Create the Action Plan

  • Involve the Team: Do not decide on actions in a silo. Run a session to discuss results and let the team prioritize what matters most to them.

C. Close the Loop

  • Assign Ownership: Ensure every action has a clear owner and a deadline.
  • Track Progress: Revisit the plan in 1:1s to sustain momentum.
  • Show Impact: Explicitly show the team where their feedback has driven change to prevent "survey fatigue".

Confidentiality & AI Safety

Feature

How it Protects Privacy

Aggregation

Insights are grouped so no individual respondent can be identified.

Thresholds

For teams with 50+ responses to free-text questions, you receive a Thematic Analysis. Smaller teams receive a concise AI Summary, provided they meet our minimum threshold of 25 comments. These thresholds are in place to protect anonymity.

Data Security

All AI processing happens securely within Hive’s environment; your data never leaves the infrastructure.

FAQs

Can I apply filters and generate an "In-depth Insight" report?

In-depth reports focus on an organisation-wide view. To focus on one specific area, generate the Team Report instead.

Who can see Thematic Analysis?

All users can see high-level themes. This gives managers context and actions without impacting the perception of confidentiality or revealing specific comments.

Why can't I see the Thematic Analysis or AI Summary?

For teams with 50+ responses to free-text questions, you receive a Thematic Analysis. Smaller teams receive a concise AI Summary, provided they meet our minimum threshold of 25 comments. These thresholds are in place to protect anonymity.

How does "Add Context" help?

It allows the AI to interpret your data through the lens of real-world events, like a "busy period," so the narrative feels authentic to your team's experience.

Can I see Key Drivers in the report?

Absolutely. If you have access to Key Drivers on your dashboard, you can include these insights in your report.

  • If you have both Team and Organisation-level access: You can choose which level of driver analysis you’d like to feature in your report configuration.
  • If you have one level of access: Your report will automatically default to the drivers available in your current view.
