Within the Survey Builder, you have the power to effortlessly amend and edit survey emails. With just a few clicks, you can tailor your communication for each survey, providing a personalised touch that enhances engagement and response rates.

How can I customise the different elements of my survey email within Survey Builder?

To customise your survey email, locate the Delivery Tab in Survey Builder. From there, you'll be able to personalise the email subject line and body for each of the three email types.

What are the different email types?

You can customise three different email types:

  1. Survey Introductory Email: sent when an employee is invited to a Hive survey for the first time.
  2. Survey Invite Email: sent to all employees when the survey is live.
  3. Survey Reminder Email: sent to any employee who is yet to submit a response to an open survey

Do I need to contact support to change the email content?

No, with  the delivery tab in Survey Builder, you can make changes to your email content seamlessly within the Survey Builder interface without needing to contact support.

Can multiple live surveys have completely different email content?

Yes, you have the flexibility to create unique email content for each of your live surveys, allowing you to tailor the messaging to suit specific audiences or purposes.

What happens if I don't customise the email content?

If you haven't specified custom email content, either Hive’s default email or your organisation's default email template will automatically be applied to the survey. If you haven't set up an organisational default email, please don't hesitate to contact the Hive Support Team for assistance (support@hive.hr).

I want to include a header in my email text. How can I do that?

Previously, when setting up survey emails, you were given a template for both the header and body. Now, to simplify the process, you only need to customise the email body. Here, you can add any text, including a header. Simply format your text as desired - whether it's a large heading, small heading, or paragraph. Everything is in one place.

Can I translate custom emails?

Yes, you can manually translate custom emails to accommodate different language preferences or reach a wider audience. Simply navigate to your chosen language in the Delivery tab to set up and confirm your email translations. Please note that any changes made to your email content after saving your translations will require re-confirmation in the Delivery tab.

 

Top tip! If you've already translated your organisation’s default email into different languages, you can provide these translated versions to Hive. By doing so, you'll streamline the process of setting up surveys, as you won't need to input the translations into the Translations tab every time. Simply reach out to Support@hive.hr, and they'll assist you in integrating these translated versions into your account.
